JESSICA CHEN is dedicated to promoting small businesses and charities as she guides NextGenEdits to growth and success. She plays a major role in outreach, establishing productive and long-lasting relationships between NextGenEdits and innovative companies and organizations.
She is Co-President of her high school’s DECA chapter and has achieved many honors in business competitions, including DECA awards at state-level competitions in franchise business plans and travel/tourism; and Best Business Model in the University Startups Business Competition. In addition, Jessica leads high school students to promote positive change through her leadership of Paper Bridges, through which Jessica connects students with vulnerable communities around the world.
Jessica views NextGenEdits as a rewarding venture that enables her to give back to her community through her commitments to service, leadership, media artistry, and marketing. She is committed to using her passion to create informative and inspirational videos that will “nudge” viewers to support and learn about local businesses
KRISTINA KHRIMIAN is a growth-minded, goal-driven leader. She plays a crucial role in filming, outreach, and management. Her current interests include cognitive science and business management. She is also the Founder and President of Armenian Behavioral Science Students (ABSS), a group dedicated to promoting the behavioral sciences among students of all ages.
Kristina is Co-President of her school’s DECA, chapter, where she won multiple regionals and states awards, and qualified to participate in DECA’s international conferences twice. She is also Co-President of her school’s Amnesty International chapter, as well as a member of the French and Science National Honors Societies.
Outside of school, Kristina is a marketing intern at Deka Biosciences, where she uses creative methods to maximize social media engagement. She is also an intern for ATOP MeaningfulWorld, where she volunteers to provide humanitarian aid and mental health support to underprivileged countries. Through NextGenEdits, Kristina strives to utilize her effective management skills to create a positive impact in her community.

Emma is apart of her school’s DECA, chapter, where she placed at state-level competitions in hospitality and tourism; and participated in a Harvard business competition. In addition, she is the president of her high school’s Paper Bridges club, a nonprofit organization dedicated to sending letters and care packages to foster care centers and orphanages worldwide.

CARLY NUÑEZ is a growth-minded, goal-driven leader. She plays a crucial role in filming, outreach, and management. Her current interests include business marketing and health sciences. She is a part of her high school's SGA Executive Board Media Committee, a group of students dedicated to promoting school events and activities by filming, directing, and editing videos.
Carly is a Student Ambassador at her school, where she helps new students acclimate to school and serves as a resource to students by offering support on academic and social matters. She is also a member of the National Spanish Honors Society and Minority Scholars Program where she shares cultural diversity with a younger audience.
Outside of school, Carly is an Intern at APLUS Education, where she uses analytical methods for financial planning and customer insight. She is also a hospital volunteer at Shady Grove Hospital, where she provides patient care and clerical support. Through NextGenEdits, Carly strives to utilize her effective management skills to create a positive impact in her community.
FREDY GONZÁLEZ is a dedicated and innovative leader with a passion for storytelling, through video editing, marketing, and leadership. Playing a key role in project management as well as creative direction. His interests lie in using visual media and audience analytics to elevate brand and community initiatives.
Fredy serves as the Executive Board Member of his high school’s Student Government Association, where he produces and edits promotional content for school events, significantly boosting student engagement. He also holds a leadership position in the Sports Manager Club, where he leads a team of student managers to efficiently run the school’s athletic events. With hands-on experience managing logistics and customer service at LifeTime Fitness locations.
With his role at NextGenEdits, Fredy aims to expand his creative and logistical skills for impactful media to help organizations tell their stories in a way that resonates with the audience.
RYAN HU is an outreach coordinator in Rockville, MD. He takes an active role in developing his entrepreneurial passion projects. He manages multiple 5-figure businesses and directs outreach for NextGenEdits. In the field, he enjoys consulting and initiating a fun negotiation environment.
RYAN MCGUIRE is an outreach coordinator in Clarksburg, MD. Having demonstrated profound leadership skills, Ryan is passionate about empowering others in the community to reach their full potential. He currently operates in a number of local community-driven organizations and is working to oversee company operations for NextGenEdits. In his role, Ryan will work with other companies to develop successful business alliances.
KALLE MAKALOU is an experienced video editor in Rockville MD. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for video editing, she has amassed several years of expertise in this field. She strives to make a positive impact on her community through her creations whether it's through visual art, or other forms of expression.
CHRISTINA CUNANAN is an experienced video editor in Clarksburg, MD. She is passionate about service and making change in the community. Video editing has always been a hobby of hers. Being part of NextGenEdits, Christina is excited to take it onto the next level and use her love of video editing to support businesses on a large scale.
